This copyright crap is just going way overboard. As it is every year, listening to the radio and they even said they can’t say the “Super Bowl” on air, because that name is copyrighted. That is just stupid; no I should not have to call it the “Big Game”. It is the SUPER BOWL, yes SUPER BOWL, SUPER BOWL, SUPER BOWL, SUPER BOWL, SUPER BOWL, SUPER BOWL, SUPER BOWL, SUPER BOWL. Ok!?
So yea, if you are having a, SUPER BOWL party, here are your rules:
NFL PARTY RULES (Source: NFL)
For groups that want to host Super Bowl parties — other than sports bars and businesses that normally show televised sports — here are rules the NFL says must be followed:
• No admission fees (even to pay for snacks).
• Only one television (55 inches or smaller).
• No use of the words “Super Bowl” in promotional materials.
• No exhibition of the game in connection with events “that promote a message.”
Or I say screw them, and do whatever you want! C’mon NFL I want to see you sue all 100 million people that watch the Super Bowl, and also say “SUPER BOWL”!!!
